CIRCODU conducted a mid-term review which aimed at assessing the progress of the projects towards achieving the targets for the Renewable Energy Projects, and providing recommendations on how to improve performance and strengthen results, outcomes and impact.

In partnership with TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANTS, CIRCODU was sub-contracted to undertake a study that would facilitate in coming up with a detailed design of the small-scale water storage and detention facilities, detailed plan for silt traps drainage, flood control and maximum water recuperation. The project was commissioned by the Government of Uganda through Ministry of Water and Environment in partnership with UNDP

The assignment aimed at establishing information about the existing state of the districts on creation of an enabling environment to increase access to clean energy alternatives and there after facilitate a process to guide the Local Governments on district level energy planning in 19 selected districts of Albertine Graben.

The World Bank together with Decision Lab and CIRCODU carried on a behavioral diagnostic for the Distribution Challenge Fund (DCF) project, with the aim of better understanding how consumers perceive clean cookstoves in Uganda.

With the grant, CIRCODU procured additional testing equipment including SUMS, Calibration gases and Moisture meters. and drafted a quality assurance and quality control plan.

The activities involved included:
